FOAC
FOAC
The Fair Oaks Adventure Curriculum was designed to support physical education, counseling, and enrichment programs. The curriculum emphasizes outdoor, hands-on learning to enhance a positive school climate.
FOAC helps students build life skills, self-esteem, and personal growth through teamwork, problem-solving, and guided challenges. Central to the program are three guiding rules: I will be safe, I will do my best, and I will value myself and others. These principles, reinforced throughout each activity, encourage trust, respect, and positive risk-taking, with reflections that connect experiences to daily life.
At its core, the Fair Oaks Adventure Curriculum cultivates a caring environment where students feel supported and valued. It challenges them to be hardworking in the face of obstacles, eager to learn and grow, and fearless in trying new things. Through every activity and reflection, FOAC provides an inspiring experience that empowers students to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
